[No] Unconditional Love

Love has become a commodity. An investment. People invest time, energy, feelings, emotions and sometimes even money in it… and they expect something in return. It is never just “I love you…” it has been “I love you, but…” Has sincerity died? Unconditional love is thrown away to a bottomless pit.

Love is a business investment. People expect a break even point after a certain period of time investing. And when they can’t get it, they get mad. I used to believe in unconditional love, but I don’t see it anywhere now… sadly! When they give, they expect to collect.

I love butterfly, not only because it is a delicately beautiful creature that is full of vulnerability; but mainly because it is a symbol of transformation and hidden power - a living proof that something rather ugly, disgusting and poisonous can actually be transformed into the most beautiful creature. On top of that, its delicate and rather vulnerable wings can cause a tsunami on the other side of the world, famously called as The Butterfly Effect.
